Went out to find the Paddington Bear Bench; it's part of the UK-wide trail, Paddington Visits. I was lucky enough that security let me scan it as they watched on. It took around two minutes in total. Anyone who has doubts about the Creality Otter and the bridge, don't; it works beyond expectations.
In October 2024, a life-size statue of Paddington Bear was unveiled at Liverpool ONE as part of the "Paddington Visits" trail, celebrating the upcoming release of Paddington in Peru, which premiered in UK and Ireland cinemas on November 8, 2024.
The statue, meticulously crafted and painted, features Paddington in his signature red hat and blue duffle coat, holding a marmalade sandwich. It is located on College Lane, near Waterstones, inviting fans of all ages to sit beside the beloved bear for photos and shared moments.
Liverpool was one of 23 locations across the UK and Ireland participating in the "Paddington Visits" trail, which included cities and towns from John O’Groats to Land’s End. This initiative aimed to bring joy and a sense of adventure to communities, encouraging families to explore and engage with Paddington's story.
The trail was organized by STUDIOCANAL in collaboration with Ordnance Survey, providing maps and walking routes to help fans discover each Paddington statue. The Liverpool ONE statue became a popular attraction, with visitors stopping for selfies and children sharing marmalade sandwiches with the iconic bear.
